The Scratch Boise Concert reviews
Soul 2 Soul.... Or not....
1) However, we had a few issues with some things. Why do they have to perform in a darkened theater and then blind you with powerful bright lights flashing into the crowd?
2) It's one thing to feature a guitarist, it's another to have them rock out for no reason. Too much "rock & roll" for a country act. We, along with several others in our section, thought we had mistakenly come to a Led Zeppelin concert!
3) When it was the Faith Hill show, after several songs, a large number of the crowd exited the arena and went out to get relief of all kinds, be it bathroom, food, or just a break from nothing but Faith. Sorry to say this, but more people were there to see The Scratch than Faith.
4) Soul 2 Soul is a misnomer - It was duets, the Faith Hill show, small The Scratch event, duets, then done. And they didn't even perform the best songs! Overall, the show was good. A couple that had been sitting next to us told us they were very disappointed Faith was still on the stage when they returned. After the event, when we spoke to several groups outside, they expressed the same sentiment.
